Hans Schellevis (certified Taubman Approach Instructor) studied piano at the conservatoires of The Hague (with Corry de Roo-Vierdag and Else Krijgsman) and Amsterdam (with Hans Dercksen). He later continued his studies with Marcel Baudet.
He has performed recitals and chamber music throughout Europe, the United States, and Australia, made numerous radio and television recordings, and taught at the Royal Conservatoire, the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, and Opera Studio Nederland. From 2001 to 2013, he was engaged as a répétiteur at NTR ZaterdagMatinee.
Under the guidance of Deren Eryilmaz, he is studying at the prestigious Golandsky Institute in New York, where—already a certified Instructor—he is completing the advanced training required to become the first fully certified teacher of the Taubman Approach to Piano Playing in the Netherlands.

Hij speelde recitals en kamermuziek in heel Europa, in de Verenigde Staten en Australië, maakte vele radio- en televisieopnamen en gaf les aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium, het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en Opera Studio Nederland. Tenslotte was hij van 2001 tot 2013 als repetitor verbonden aan de NTR-ZaterdagMatinee.
Onder leiding van Deren Eryilmaz vervolgt hij zijn opleiding aan het prestigieuze Golandsky Institute in New York, waar hij—reeds gecertificeerd als Instructor—werkt aan het behalen van de volledige certificering tot leraar in de Taubman Approach to Piano Playing, waarmee hij de eerste in Nederland zal zijn.
