Led by Deren Eryilmaz, the only certified Taubman Master Teacher in Europe, together with Hans Schellevis, the only Dutch, Instructor-level certified Taubman Teacher, this workshop combines lectures, masterclasses, and hands-on technical problem solving. Participants will learn how efficient movement at the keyboard leads to greater freedom, security, and artistry.

Whether you are a student, teacher, amateur, or professional pianist, this event offers practical tools you can immediately apply to your own playing and teaching.

Day 1 — Saturday, 11 April

  • 10:30 – 11:00 | Introduction: Hans tells us what brought him to this work, and briefly explains the building blocks of the Taubman Approach and answers questions at the end of the session.
  • 11:15 – 12:00 | “Reality versus Misconceptions”: Deren explains the terminology and the right movements.
